Bubbling House

Bubbling house is the produced, club-ready descendant of bubbling, developed in the Netherlands during the 2000s when a new generation of Afro-Dutch producers rebuilt the older style's sped-up dancehall bounce with modern electronic production. *DJ Chippie*, *Coversquad* and *Naffie* added harder synth melodies, heavier low end and house structures to the galloping rhythm, and the sound fed directly into Dutch house and the EDM mainstream through figures such as *Chuckie* and *Hardwell*. In the 2020s, *De Schuurman* and #Nyege Nyege Tapes# revived and documented the style, joining the original Hague scene to a new international audience.
