Hypertechno

Hypertechno is a commercial electronic dance style that emerged in Germany in the early 2020s, accelerating the formulas of Eurodance and hard dance to tempos of roughly 140 to 150 BPM. Producers rebuild familiar pop, Eurodance and folk melodies over hardstyle-derived reverse bass, rave stabs and pitch-shifted, sped-up vocals, keeping tracks short and hook-dense for streaming and social media. Breakthrough records such as *Bennett*'s techno version of "Vois sur ton chemin" and *Niklas Dee* and *Luca-Dante Spadafora*'s "Mädchen auf dem Pferd", a German number one in 2023, carried the sound from TikTok to the charts, where acts including *HBz*, *VIZE* and *Creeds* made it a fixture of Central European pop dance music.
