Kurdish Music

Kurdish music is the musical tradition of the Kurdish people across Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria, built on the temb没r lute, the bil没r flute and the voice of the dengb锚j, the singer who carries epics and histories by memory. In exile and at home, *艦ivan Perwer* turned that inheritance into a symbol of cultural survival on records like "K卯 ne Em", while *Ciwan Haco* and *Aynur* modernized the repertoire with electric bands and jazz harmony. Its stateless history makes the music itself a form of record-keeping.
