Pluggnb

Pluggnb, also written pluggnB, is a subgenre of plugg and trap that fuses the light, video-game-inflected beats of the plugg scene with the melodic pull of contemporary R&B. Built by producers *CashCache* and *Dylvinci* around the *XanGang* and *SlayWorld* collectives, it favors soft synth pads, glittering arpeggios and Auto-Tuned crooning from rappers like *Summrs*, *Autumn!* and *Kankan*. Where plugg is minimal and percussive, pluggnb is lush and romantic, an internet-native sound spread through SoundCloud in the late 2010s.
