Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written by Brad Arnold about a friend's cocaine addiction, 'Loser' was the second single from 'The Better Life', its post-grunge arrangement slowing the album's radio formula toward dirge tempo. The lyric's first-person framing led many listeners to read it as autobiographical.
