Album Notes & Community Reviews

The ultimate hip-hop posse cut, anchored by a stripped-down, jazz-inflected beat and relentless, high-energy vocal exchanges. The track formally introduced the world to the raw, chaotic vocal power of Busta Rhymes, who delivers one of the most celebrated concluding verses in rap history. Its aggressive, joyful camaraderie stood in stark contrast to the emerging dominance of West Coast gangsta rap.
