Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the lead single from her eponymous final studio album, this Timbaland-produced track masterfully layers reversed clarinet samples over a slippery, syncopated rhythm. The song's complex arrangement and mature lyricism about relationship miscommunication highlighted Aaliyah's artistic evolution.
