Collaborating as a dual American underground project, 'Pillar of Fire / Capernaum' represents a stunning joint 7-inch single from Om bassist Al Cisneros and Wovenhand frontman David Eugene Edwards. The instrumental tracks pair Cisneros' heavy, warm, and highly hypnotic raga-rock basslines and sitar drones with Edwards' delicate, ambient Americana guitar work. The resulting compositions deliver a deeply meditative, avant-garde, and tranquil psychedelic-rock ritual.
