Album Notes & Community Reviews

Departing from her usual acoustic foundations, this track introduces a more driving indie-rock rhythm characterized by a steady bassline and muted electric guitars. The vocal performance is more rhythmic and deadpan, emphasizing a tense, repetitive structure that suggests the influence of early post-punk. It demonstrates the artist's ability to maintain her idiosyncratic narrative style while experimenting with rigid, rock-oriented arrangements.
