Archie, Marry Me

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the breakout hit for the Canadian indie-pop outfit, this track balances sincere romantic yearning with a slacker-rock rejection of traditional societal pressures regarding marriage. Driven by incredibly infectious, fuzzed-out guitar melodies and Molly Rankin's breezy vocal delivery, it captures the essence of melancholic summer nostalgia. The song quickly became a beloved modern classic within the indie-pop and jangle-pop revival scenes.
