Album Notes & Community Reviews

Heavily evocative of the arid Southwestern landscape despite being recorded in rainy London, this relaxed, two-chord acoustic arrangement scored a massive international hit. The surreal, impressionistic lyricism and breezy vocal harmonies epitomized the highly lucrative, post-psychedelic mellowing of mainstream seventies pop-rock.
