Album Notes & Community Reviews

A phenomenal reinterpretation of a Burt Bacharach composition, completely revitalized by the Queen of Soul. Franklin's soaring, improvisational vocal performance, backed by a tight rhythm section and intricate backing harmonies from the Sweet Inspirations, transformed the light pop hit into a profound gospel-soul masterpiece.
