Album Notes & Community Reviews

A defining anthem of the early 2010s EDM boom, this instrumental track catapulted Swedish producer Avicii to global superstardom. It is famously built around an uplifting vocal sample of Etta James's 1962 gospel song 'Something's Got a Hold on Me', which acts as the song's emotional core. The track's incredibly infectious, soaring synthesizer melody heavily influenced mainstream pop and dance music for years.
