Album Notes & Community Reviews

A single from 'The Hour of Bewilderbeast', 'Disillusion' sets Damon Gough's plainspoken vocal over a loose, funk-inflected groove unusual within his largely acoustic catalogue. It was among the most rhythm-driven tracks on the album that won him the Mercury Prize.
