Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging several years before the term 'post-rock' was formally coined to describe their music, this early single demonstrates the group's foundational shift away from traditional song structures. The music is incredibly spacious and atmospheric, favoring slow, deliberate tension and jazz-inflected dynamics over conventional rock energy. It laid the vital groundwork for the experimental rock innovations that would follow later in the decade.
