Album Notes & Community Reviews
A single from 'Midnite Vultures', 'Nicotine & Gravy' is Beck's falsetto funk pastiche, its satirical lyric delivered over turntable scratches and a Prince-indebted groove. It belongs to the album's sustained send-up of R&B loverman conventions.
