Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a significant stylistic detour from their traditionally pastoral, melancholic twee-pop, 'Legal Man' is a vibrant, deeply nostalgic homage to 1960s psychedelic soul and freakbeat. Driven by congas, sitar lines, and a driving horn section, the joyous, upbeat arrangement surprised critics and fans alike. It became the Scottish group's highest-charting single in the UK.
