Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written from the perspective of the monster under the bed, this dark, minimalist track significantly shifted the boundaries of modern alternative pop. FINNEAS's skeletal, industrial-tinged production incorporates unsettling sound effects like a dental drill and shattering glass, perfectly matching the song's nightmarish lyrical themes. It provided the core conceptual foundation for her debut album.
