Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as a dramatic, heavily orchestrated sequel to her earlier track 'Isobel', 'Bachelorette' is a towering achievement in cinematic pop music. The composition is built around a booming, dramatic string section arranged by Eumir Deodato and relentless, driving trip-hop rhythms. The song's theatrical nature was perfectly complemented by a Michel Gondry-directed music video featuring a recursive, story-within-a-story narrative.
