Album Notes & Community Reviews
Built upon a lumbering, violently heavy guitar riff famously described by the band as sounding like a huge iron bloke walking about, this track became a definitive cornerstone of early heavy metal. Ozzy Osbourne's distorted vocal processing through a metal fan and the apocalyptic, science-fiction lyricism codified the genre's dark, imposing aesthetic.
