Album Notes & Community Reviews
Though initially recorded by an obscure British indie band, this melancholic alternative rock track achieved legendary cult status after being selected as the opening theme for the avant-garde cyberpunk anime 'Serial Experiments Lain'. Jasmine Rodgers' airy, emotive vocals perfectly complemented the show's dark exploration of digital alienation and existentialism. The song experienced a massive, viral resurgence on social media decades later.
