Album Notes & Community Reviews
A defining anthem of the 1980s hair metal era, 'Livin' on a Prayer' chronicles the fictional, working-class struggles of Tommy and Gina. Co-written with Desmond Child, the track's signature sound is heavily defined by Richie Sambora's extensive use of a talk box guitar effect during the main riff.
