Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written late in the recording sessions after Jon Landau demanded a guaranteed hit, 'Dancing in the Dark' updates Springsteen's heartland rock sound with a prominent, driving synthesizer hook. The track's iconic Brian De Palma-directed music video, featuring a young Courteney Cox, cemented his transition into a global pop superstar.
