Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bruce Springsteen's twelfth studio album is his first with the E Street Band in eighteen years, written in direct response to the September 11 attacks. Produced by Brendan O'Brien, 'The Rising' balances grief and defiance across heartland rock arrangements, its title track told from a firefighter's perspective.
