Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking a significant departure from his earlier R&B ballads, this lead single from 'Unorthodox Jukebox' leans heavily into upbeat, 1980s new wave and reggae rock. Critics frequently noted the song's strong stylistic resemblance to the driving, syncopated rhythms of The Police. It spent an impressive six consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
