Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring Karen Carpenter's exceptionally rich, low-register vocal delivery and a lush arrangement of muted brass and harpsichords, this Burt Bacharach-penned classic launched the sibling duo to international superstardom. The immaculate, soft-rock perfection stood in stark contrast to the era's heavy psychedelia and political unrest.
