"F**k You!"

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-written with Bruno Mars, this track masterfully disguises a bitter, explicit breakup narrative behind joyful, Motown-inspired 1960s soul instrumentation. Driven by a bouncing piano, bright brass, and the singer's immensely charismatic vocal delivery, the contrast between the upbeat sound and venomous lyrics made it an instant viral sensation. A sanitized version titled 'Forget You' was heavily promoted for radio, but the explicit original remains the definitive pop-soul anthem of spite.
