Album Notes & Community Reviews
A foundational bedroom pop anthem that exploded into viral fame thanks to its charming, low-budget webcam music video. Produced entirely on GarageBand, the lo-fi synth-pop track sarcastically addresses the pressure to alter one's personality to please a romantic partner. Its massive internet success catalyzed Clairo's career and helped define the DIY aesthetic of late-2010s Gen Z pop.
