Album Notes & Community Reviews
Leaning entirely on a hypnotic, looped sample of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Pretty Little Ditty', 'Butterfly' provided a surprisingly mellow, romantic contrast to the aggressive rap-rock of its era. The single hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the definitive one-hit wonder of the nu-metal movement.
