Abandoning their traditional sample-based house methods, Daft Punk enlisted Chic mastermind Nile Rodgers and vocalist Pharrell Williams for an authentic homage to late-1970s disco. Driven by Rodgers's signature clean, rhythmic guitar strumming, 'Get Lucky' became one of the best-selling digital singles of all time. The track spearheaded a massive mainstream revival of organic funk and disco aesthetics.
