Album Notes & Community Reviews
Anchored by production from Paul White that samples the obscure 1970s avant-garde track 'Pot Au Feu' by Delia Derbyshire, this frantic single signaled the rapper's transition to the esteemed Warp Records. The beat creates an atmosphere of high-anxiety Detroit ghettotech, matching the artist's manic, yelping delivery describing the dangers of street violence and substance abuse. It set the erratic, intensely dark tone for his critically acclaimed fourth album.
