Album Notes & Community Reviews
This early duet features tight, melodramatic vocal harmonies typical of the turn-of-the-century parlor traditions. The performance highlights the sentimental longing that characterized immense portions of the nascent commercial recording industry's catalog. It stands as a charming, fragile preservation of Victorian-era popular sensibilities.
