Album Notes & Community Reviews

Executing a deeply atmospheric and melancholic composition, the orchestra utilizes rich, muted brass and velvety reed voicings to craft a quintessential mood piece. The elegant, slow-tempo arrangement underscores the bandleader's genius for tonal color, producing a highly sophisticated standard that resonated deeply with mid-century listeners.
