Shape of You

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially conceived with Rihanna in mind, the artist ultimately kept the song, pivoting away from his acoustic singer-songwriter roots toward heavily produced, marimba-infused dance-pop. It became a statistical juggernaut, shattering streaming records to become one of the most commercially successful songs in the history of the Billboard charts.
