Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly before his tragic passing, this limited-edition 7-inch single captures Elliott Smith's increasingly dense, studio-layered songwriting. The beautifully melancholic 'Pretty (Ugly Before)' serves as a poignant, slightly more upbeat moment within his deeply troubled final recordings.
