Album Notes & Community Reviews
Brilliantly sampling Martika's 1989 hit 'Toy Soldiers', this somber track addresses the escalating and fatal violence within the hip-hop industry. The song's marching-band drumline and earnest plea for pacifism stood out as a remarkably mature and sobering moment on 'Encore'.
