Album Notes & Community Reviews
A sprawling, nearly ten-minute progressive R&B suite that functions as the dazzling centerpiece of 'channel ORANGE'. The track is split into two distinct halves, shifting from an upbeat synth-funk groove exploring the ancient fall of Cleopatra to a dark, woozy trap-soul beat depicting a modern-day sex worker in Las Vegas. The epic narrative culminates in an expressive, uncredited guitar solo performed by John Mayer.
