Album Notes & Community Reviews
Featuring a guest verse from Earl Sweatshirt, this track interpolates the steady piano rhythm of Elton John's 'Bennie and the Jets'. Frank Ocean delivers a cynical, lethargic vocal performance that critiques the numb, drug-fueled nihilism of wealthy, neglected youth in Los Angeles. The song stands as a masterclass in narrative songwriting and subtle R&B production.
