Album Notes & Community Reviews
Constructed around a subtle, two-note acoustic guitar sample from Luiz Bonf谩's 1967 track 'Seville', this unlikely indie-pop duet became one of the defining global hits of the early 2010s. The song explores the petty, bitter aftermath of a breakup, elevated significantly by the contrasting vocal perspective offered by New Zealand singer Kimbra. Its striking, stop-motion body-paint music video heavily contributed to its massive viral ubiquity.
