Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially born out of a string-skipping warm-up exercise by guitarist Slash, 'Sweet Child o' Mine' transformed into the breakthrough hit that sent 'Appetite for Destruction' to the top of the charts. The track balances aggressive hard rock tendencies with genuine melodic sentimentality, cementing Axl Rose's multifaceted lyrical persona.
