Album Notes & Community Reviews

A savage rejection of the polished pop-metal that dominated the Sunset Strip, 'Welcome to the Jungle' introduced a grittier, dangerous edge to mainstream hard rock. Axl Rose's ferocious vocals chronicle the dark, predatory reality of Los Angeles street life, propelled by Slash's legendary descending delay-pedal riff.
