Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marrying spiritual devotion with an upbeat, almost secular honky-tonk arrangement, this track became one of the most beloved hymns in the American canon. Its triumphant lyricism showcases an optimistic, redemptive side of an artist otherwise famous for profound sorrow.
