Album Notes & Community Reviews

The absolute zenith of the Wall of Sound production technique, utilizing an unprecedented twenty-one session musicians and an enormous backing choir. Tina Turner's fiercely powerful vocal delivery barely cuts through Phil Spector's dense, symphonic arrangement, resulting in a chaotic but undeniably epic pop masterpiece.
