Album Notes & Community Reviews
James Blake's debut release immediately established his unique take on the London bass scene, combining the sub-bass weight of dubstep with deeply syncopated, wonky percussion. The record's stark, minimalist approach laid the vital groundwork for the looming post-dubstep movement.
