Hobo Blues / Hoogie Boogie

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Generating immense tension through sheer repetition, this recording ignores traditional chord changes in favor of a hypnotic, amplified one-chord drone. The incredibly deep, booming vocal delivery is anchored by the artist's relentless foot-stomping, creating a primal, swampy atmosphere. The heavy, electric boogie groove presented here profoundly influenced the gritty, riff-based architecture of future rock bands.
