Album Notes & Community Reviews

An instrumental version of this track famously served as the haunting theme song to David Lynch's cult television series 'Twin Peaks'. Composed by Angelo Badalamenti with lyrics by Lynch, the vocal version features Julee Cruise's airy, reverb-drenched delivery drifting over synthesized strings and a twangy baritone guitar. The song masterfully established the surreal, darkly romantic aesthetic of the show.
