Monster

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring an iconic, star-making guest verse from Nicki Minaj, this posse cut is a masterclass in aggressive, horror-themed braggadocio. The track utilizes a creeping, tribal drum beat and distorted vocal samples to create a menacing, haunted house atmosphere. Minaj's frantic shifting between alter-egos entirely eclipsed the performances of veteran rappers Jay-Z and Rick Ross, becoming one of the most legendary features in hip-hop history.
