No More Parties in L.A.

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring an incredible six-minute rap showcase, this track pairs the artist with Kendrick Lamar over a dense, soulful beat produced by Madlib. The instrumental utilizes a looped sample of Junie Morrison's 'Suzie Thundertussy', providing a classic boom-bap aesthetic that contrasts sharply with the frantic electronic sounds of the producer's prior albums. The sprawling lyricism addresses the exhaustion and vapidity of Hollywood lifestyle and celebrity anxiety.
