Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pioneering the use of the Fairlight CMI synthesizer to construct dense, percussive textures, 'Running Up That Hill' explores the desire to swap consciousnesses to truly understand one's partner. The relentless, galloping rhythm mirrors the urgency of the lyrics, cementing Bush's reputation as a peerless studio innovator. Decades later, its inclusion in the television series 'Stranger Things' sparked a massive, unprecedented global resurgence.
