Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by the Neptunes for 'Wanderland', the single's machine-funk arrangement marked a sharp break from Kelis's debut. Its sound is defined by layered harmonies over a smooth rhythm section, the playing escapism in execution and longing in tone.

Descriptors: escapism, lyrical-dissonance, adolescence, repetitive, melodic
